Service Agreement

Using, skymaidservice.com web site or ordering services over the phone, fax, and email you accept and agree to be bound by this Customer Service Agreement.

SKYMAIDS Cleaning estimates.

1. You agree that the actual price payable is calculated on the total number of hours worked by the cleaners.
2. Any price estimates are based on SKYMAIDS prior experience, without inspection, and based on information provided by the Customer.
3. If at the commencement or during the course of providing the Service, it is apparent that the actual cost of the Service will exceed the quote provided by SKYMAIDS Inc, SKYMAIDS Inc will provide the Customer with the option to pay an increased fee to complete the service or pay the quoted amount without the service being completed.

Cancellation/Rescheduling policy.

1. We request a minimum of 24 hours cancellation or reschedule notice! If for any reason, you have to cancel or reschedule your cleaning appointment, please call us immediately. We are very strict on our 24 hour cancellation policy, please honor it! Less than 24 hours cancellations will be charged a cancellation fee of $46!

2. We will charge a $46 fee: 1.) If you, the customer, call our office after business hours, after 7:00 p.m., and leave a message to cancel the appointment; If our staff show up at your doorsteps and for any reason not able to clean your home. (Example: a locked door, the construction crew is not finished and you the customer have to turn them away) No exceptions!

3. Appointments scheduled within time frame less than 24 hours before the actual appointment can be only cancelled or rescheduled with $46 fee. No exceptions ! 

4. Customer will be also charged a $46 fee if our team arrived at customer location on time, but unable to get in due to customer fault for more than 20 minutes from the scheduled appointment time. 

5. All online reservations are a subject of the same cancellation and rescheduling policy.

6. Appointmnet can not be canceled , rescheduled or scheduled through our employees. Customer must contact our office directly ay 773 747 2475 or Cancel, Reschedule or Schedule online


Extras

Our staff is not allowed to lift anything that is heavier than 30lb, move large or bulky furniture items, and we assume to take out no more than 2 bags of trash on a regular visit. Please do not overload the trash! We reserve the right to leave out some of the trash if it is too heavy or too much.
Yes we do laundry it is included in our hourly rates.


 
Reservations.

1. The Customer agrees to provide SKYMAIDS Inc with their valid credit card details at the time of reservation and authorizes to debit any card with an amount equal to any service and/ or cancellation fees that may apply under this Agreement.
2. SKYMAIDS, Inc reserves the right not to accept a reservation for any reason.
3. 5% Online reservation discount for new customers only and can be used only one time.
4. Online reservation confirmation will be send depend on the appointment date and time but no later than 7pm Chicago IL time, on the day before your appointment.
5. Reservation can not be processed by text message, email or voicemail. Please use our Book now system or call us at 773-747-2475

    Please understand, that sometimes we have enormous scheduling and rescheduling requests, so we need time to process all of them.
    So if you schedule today and your appointment will be for tomorrow, please do not make any other arrangements before cancel service with us! If you do so $46 fee will apply. No exceptions

Payment terms.

1. The Customer agrees to pay SKYMAIDS Inc in full when the service is complete, unless otherwise agreed in advance.
2. You authorize to charge the credit card on file if no cash or check payment received.
3. You authorize to add $5 or 2.9% processing fee, whichever is greater for credit/debit card transactions.
4. All outstanding invoices 30 days and over is a subject of late payment fee of $35
5. If no payment is received immediately after service completed , the customer authorizes Skymaids, Inc to charge customer credit card in the full amount of the invoice.

Coupon/ Offers/ Discounts

1. All coupons must be mentioned before scheduling appointment.
2. Unfortunately we can only accept limited appointments per week for coupons. 
3. We will charge full price for the service if the customer did not notify Skymaids about a coupon at the time of reservation. 
4. All coupons or offer only can bu used once. Limit 1 per customer. New customers only.
5. Refferal discount can be used one time per household and only if referal schedule appointment with us.


 
Late payment fee.

1. The Customer agrees that if SKYMAIDS Inc has not received payment in full for the Service within 30 days from the original service date to pay $35 late payment fee. No exceptions
2. In addition to the amounts set out above, the Customer agrees to reimburse SKYMAIDS Inc for all legal costs (on a solicitor and own client or full indemnity basis, whichever is greater) and other expenses incurred by SKYMAIDS Inc in connection with a demand, action, or other proceeding (including mediation, out of court settlement or any action taken for recovery of debt from the Customer) arising out of a breach of these terms including the failure by the Customer to pay an amount by the due date.

 Complaints.

1. You agree to inform SKYMAIDS Inc within 48 hours if you are dissatisfied for any reason with the Service provided.

2. You agree to choose one of the next 3 available days for a free re cleaning.

3. Re-cleaning must be completed within 7 days from the time of initial service. No exceptions

4. Re cleaning time can't be longer than 1 maid 1 hour or 2 maids for 30 minutes.

5. Complainants will be denied if the customer was notified that it is not enough time to clean properly customer home but customer declined additional time. No exceptions.

6. All outstanding balances must be paid before we schedule re cleaning.

7. If customer sign a waver form than no complaint will be accepted. Please do not sign a form if you feel that our service was poor or something was damaged . Contact us immediately at 773-747-2475
 
8 . We do not respond to complaints through the 3rd party ( such as BBB) other than goverment organization or required by law.

Minimum order policy.

1. Customer agrees that the minimum order policy applies to all reservations. Please see Pricing for minimum order information here. Our minimum order policy based on the type of service your order.

2. Customer agrees to pay a minimum order amount even if the project was completed in less than minimum order time.
 

Charge Backs/ Bad Checks

Skymaids strongly encourages you to contact Skymaids directly in all cases of suspected fraud or error involving your credit card charges by Skymaids. In most cases, Skymaids can correct fraudulent or erroneous charges without bank or credit card company intervention.

If you request that your bank/credit card perform a charge back without first contacting Skymaids and Skymaids subsequently determines that the charges at issue are not erroneous or fraudulent, Skymaids reserves the right to take any available legal action and to hold you responsible for all charges back and other fees and charges that may apply. Our charge back fee is $35 per charge back

Bad checks will be transfered to attorney general for restitution program, if no payment made 35 days after service was completed

Arrival Window

1. Customer agrees there is

45 minute arrival window for 7:00 am or 9 : 00 am appointments,
60 minutes for reservations from 9 am  to 2: 00 pm 
90 minutes  from 2 pm  to 5:00 pm.
2 hours for recurring services

We use GPS tracking devices for every our vehicle,  so proof will be provided. 
Cancellation fee $46 will apply if customer refuses to let our team in our complete service, if our team late no more than an arrival window. If team late more than arrival window this policy does not apply.

Start/End Times.

1. Customer agrees the arrival time starts from the minute the cleaning crew enters your building. All completion times are rounded to the nearest 15 minutes.
2. In the case Skymaids team have to wait for more than 20 minutes for the some one ( customer ) to bring the keys to open the door  exc... Skymaids reserve the the right to reduce the time on the appointment by the time our team had to spend on waiting.

Recurring service pricing .

1. Customer agrees that regular appointment rates will be effective starting from the second recurring cleaning. 
    Recurring rates for orders at least once a month and with set schedule. Service as needed does not qualified for recurring rates.

Pet policy.

1. Customer agrees to securely lock pets in one of the rooms or have them out of the house on the service day. If a cleaning crew comes to your home and your dog acts aggressively and is not locked up, SKYMAIDS reserves the right to refuse the service. The appointment cancellation fee may be applied.

Exclusions and limitations.

SKYMAIDS Inc is not responsible for:

1. Existing dirt, wear, damage or stains that cannot be completely cleaned or removed.

2. Any wear or discoloring of fabric or surfaces becoming more visible once dirt has been removed.

3. The cost of any key replacement or locksmith fees, unless keys were lost by SKYMAIDS Inc.


Valuable Items/ Damages

We assume no liability for damage or loss of items that are not secured properly or were damaged prior to our cleaning, and we are not responsible for damage due to faulty and/or improper installation of any item. (Example: heavy pictures hanging from thumbtacks, or dings in furniture that were there before we cleaned) Items of extreme value, monetary or sentimental should be dusted or cleaned by the owner and will not be cleaned by Skymaids. Skymaids. limits its liability to replacement costs of up to $300 for each individual item; whichever is less per occurrence. All surfaces (i.e.: Marble, Granite, hardwood floors, etc.) are assumed to be sealed and ready to clean without causing harm.


Service refusal

Skymaids reserve the right to refuse the job due to:  ( $46 cancelation fee will apply)

Exteremery heavy,  messy or hazardous condition condition ( mold , pets poop, enormous aount of trash,  ...)
No hot water, heat or water at all
If our employees feel threatened by the customer
If pet was left unlocked and our employees feel threatened by your dog

Service expectation

All our emplopyees are trained , expereinced and with clear back ground
Please do not expect from our maids to clean 2000 sq ft apartment with 3 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms and do laundry 5 loads that located on the 30th floor in 1.5 hours because your previous cleaning lady did.  Our laidies working as fast as they can to do professional cleaning.

Soliciting Policy

You agree not to solicit for hire any staff member introduced to you by Skymaids. for any home-related services. We spend a lot of time to find and train them. If you are found to have solicited one of our staff please be advised you will be flaged in our system and you won't be able to schedule a service with us any more. If it happend durring a cleaning session, the session will be terminated immediately and we will charge you  the full amount of the job.  We might seek legal protection to compensate us for the time and money we spend to find, train check background of our employees. So please take it serious . If you want to hire our employee outside of our  company please discuss this matter directly with us.

Parking 

We will cover parking for up to $8 at no cost to the customer. In the case of parking fee more than covered amount cusotmer agree to reimburse Skymaids for parking fee over the amount covered. We use only regular street parking.


Instant Quote

1. You agree that the actual price payable is calculated on the total number of hours worked by the cleaners.

2. Any Instant Quote is based on SKYMAIDS prior experience, without inspection, and based on information provided by the Customer.

3. If at the commencement or during the course of providing the Service, it is apparent that the actual cost of the Service will exceed the quote provided by SKYMAIDS Inc,

SKYMAIDS Inc will provide the Customer with the option to pay an increased fee for

Complete the service or pay the quoted amount without the service being completed.


Warranty

No representation or warranty made by any other person, expressed or implied other than the owner which is not specifically set forth herein, shall be binding upon Skymaids
